Powerful Active Balancer for DALY 16S 5A (48V) Batteries
For large 48V (16S) energy storage systems built with high-capacity cells (100 to 1000+ Ah), standard 1A balancers are often insufficient. The ultra-powerful DALY 16S 5A active balancer is designed specifically to quickly and effectively correct even severe imbalances in heavy-duty industrial and domestic battery systems.
This equalizer is indispensable for high-load solar power plants, powerful uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems for country houses, telecommunications hubs, and heavy electric vehicles.
Key advantages and features:
* Extreme balancing current (up to 5.0 A): Equalization current up to 5 amps allows for significantly faster correction of cell "runaway" during deep charge and discharge cycles under high load.
* Highly efficient capacitor transfer: The balancer doesn`t waste energy or convert it into heat, like passive models. It transfers charge from the most charged cells to the lagging cells with an efficiency of up to 95%, protecting the battery from localized overheating.
* Proprietary DALY sealed enclosure: The board is sealed with a thermally conductive compound and protected by a durable plastic housing. This ensures reliable protection against dust and moisture (IP67) and resistance to strong vibrations.
* Versatility and reliability: The module works equally effectively with both popular lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) cells and lithium-ion (LiIon) cells in a 16S configuration.

Connection procedure:
1. Install the ribbon cable with the connector disconnected from the balancer.
2. Start by attaching the thin black wire (B) to the negative terminal of the entire battery.
3. Connect the colored wires to the positive terminals of the cells in sequence: the first wire to the positive terminal of the first cell (B1), the second to the positive terminal of the second cell (B2), and so on until the last wire (B16).
4. Before connecting the connector to the balancer, be sure to measure the voltage at the connector contacts with a multimeter: it should increase smoothly from pin to pin.
5. Only after successfully checking the cable, insert the connector directly into the balancer board.
